The second endurance team race took place at the beautiful "Speed at Negev" racetrack. Teams were comprised of four drivers, two buggies and two truggies. Ten teams participated (40 drivers) and many of them looked promising for the win.

The race was a 20-minute qualifier plus a 4-hour main, in which every driver raced for 20 minutes, pitted for 20 minutes, marshaled for 20 minutes, and rested for 20 minutes. This cycle repeated itself three times. The order of drivers was truggy buggy truggy buggy and then again for three times.

Our team was all XRAY in this order: Erez Even-hen (truggy), Adir Zvuluni (buggy), Ofer Rozen (truggy), and Dotan Halevy (me) (buggy).

The 20-minute qualifier passed pretty quickly, and we finished first.

The main event started well with Erez keeping the team on the lead lap. After him it was Adir's turn, who took our first place and stretched the lead until he had a battery problem which lost us a few laps. After Adir it was Ofer's turn, and he kept the gap to leader. When my turn came I started to close the gap and from that point all went really well and we got the lead⦠making it bigger every time. At the end of the race, we won by 13 laps over second place!
